Magnus freezes. "Yeah," he says, slowly. "Very. I shouldn't have said that, though, even if I was upset at the time. The Loki stuff is common knowledge, but the other stuff... Alex is a really private person." Tone apologetic, he adds, "If he ever shows up here I won't ask you to pretend like I didn't say anything, but I probably shouldn't say anything else about her life before she was homeless."
