"Maybe," he says, and tells Ragnelle a story he thinks she might get a kick out of: "There's a giant squirrel called Ratatosk that lives in the World Tree -- the ash, Yggdrasil, that I told you about? And he spends his entire day running from Vedrfolnir the hawk at the top to Nidhogg the dragon at the bottom and back, spreading rumors and lies and trying to get them to shake the world apart. He's really mean -- he can literally insult you to death if he runs into you. I think it would be fun to live like a squirrel for a time, but not like that one."
