For all that Magnus wanted a ton of sex advice a few months ago, he does actually have a pretty robust understanding of sexually transmitted infections. The topic came up, sometimes, in the shelters he'd sometimes stay at. "STD means sexually transmitted disease. There are, like, germs that get passed long while you do... that. Viruses and bacterias and, like, critters. Like crabs. Um, that's, like, lice that nest... down there. There are a ton of other ways people can keep from getting pregnant -- pills, IUDs, spermicides... a lot more things I don't remember... but condoms are the best way to stop the STDs, since those can be passed along in, um, fluids. Or if there's, like, broken skin down there. Some STDs can be treated with medications, like syphilis, but some can't be."
