This is a big question for a little guy. Magnus tries to think of things that would be of concern to the living, and to people who would struggle with potentially difficult terrain instead of calling a magical eight-legged horse to carry them up and down cliff faces.

He thinks for another moment, scooping some hummus into his mouth while he thinks. "Would a male Emperor issue an edict of self-blame? So like, would doing this make the people more or less inclined to respect a female one?"
