Magnus tries to think of a way to explain this such that Sunny will understand. "My mom and biodad never got married," he says. "Partly because Frey was -- is -- a god. So I never really knew married people until I got here, and it never felt important to me. It doesn't feel important to Alex, either. Marriage won't give us something we don't already have. Other people here have different attitudes about it, though, and so they do get married."
