Open: Vying For Diversions

Sunny Baudelaire has a very exciting life. She gets to wake up every day, and even though Dindin moved out, she gets to have breakfast with the rest of her family, and then gets to spend time with Magnu doing errands. Sometimes she gets to go to sword class, or sometimes play practice (she’s the doggie! It’s a lot of fun, she gets to pretend to be Szari! She’s better at it than everyone else though, which is why most other people in the play have to practice more often than she does). Sometimes she spends time being babysat by her aunts and uncles, sometimes she gets to hang out with her friends, sometimes she gets to work in the garden, a phrase which here means “play in the dirt in the garden”.

She’s learning how to bake food, she’s learning how to play music, she’s learning letters, and she’s pretty sure she already knows almost all of the animals.

She doesn’t get to be alone though, because if she’s alone she might get kidnapped again. This is a rule Sunny has no issue following, because she doesn’t want to get kidnapped. It does make it difficult for typists to create easy prompts for an open post, however. Perhaps Sunny has been placed in the care of your character for a time being, or perhaps she is in the yard while her parents keep an eye on her from a nearby window when your character walks by. After all, the world is your oyster, a phrase which has little to do with shellfish but is instead a phrase which here means, “you have to pick what Sunny’s doing for these threads, I’m sorry”.
