Trick Or Treat... But DON'T Smell Sunny's Feet!!!! [open]

It's Dark now, and Magnus has been preparing. He doesn't want Sunny to get bored or to feel the pervasive lack of the month, and so he's been squirreling away the necessary items for fun. It's not a surprise activity — Sunny has been on board since the very beginning, helping pick out exactly what they need to make it truly exceptional — but it does have a very intensive prep.

Finally, about a week into the month, they reach a point of cabin fever where the time seems right. It's not so intense that they're truly cranky, but they're definitely both in need of some diversion. Apu's cold is waning, and Far's isn't very advanced, and so Sunny allows that she can take a break from playing nurse (a word which here means verrrry carefully but verrrry insistently bringing them both cup after cup of water) to play Halloween instead.

And so, equipped with a closet full of costumes and an enormous basket, they start their rotation of Every Single Door In The Mansion (And All Other Non-Mansion Buildings Where People Live). Magnus knocks loudly, Sunny at his side, poised to say the magic words.

Halloween! In... May. When tagging in, please just get your character to the point of opening the door: we're going to describe Magnunny's costumes in our first tags!

Magnus, as the body here, says nothing. If Apollo knows what's good for him, he'll respond appropriately.

Ah. This is clearly an Adult Person, and not Sunny in a clever costume. He has a sneaking suspicion that he can guess whose shoulders she's on, but he won't comment if Magnus doesn't. "Hello, sir," he says, leaning into his (not) straight man role. "Um....trick, I guess?"

[biteybaby]

It is Magnu's turn to do the trick this time, so Sunny doesn't do anything yet.

And Magnus turns and walks away!

[papadopoulos]

Well. That pretty much confirms his guess as to who Sunny is riding. He stands there, at a bit of a loss, and pulls his blanket mound a little closer.

“O….kay?”

[biteybaby]

Sunny giggles. Magnu had a very good trick! He made Polly think he wasn't going to get a Halloween present! But Polly does need to get one, so she taps the top of Magnu's head under the coat. "Noooo Magnu go back," she whispers.

[summerdude]

Obedient only to his baby sister, Magnus turns silently back around.

[papadopoulos]

"I'm....uh, not seeing a trick?"

[biteybaby]

"Magnu act like us leaving!" Sunny explains helpfully.

[summerdude]

Sunny bobs up and down as Magnus gives a big nod.

[papadopoulos]

"...Ah. My mistake, sorry."

[biteybaby]

Sunny sticks her hand out from the top of the trench coat and presents Apollo with a Kinder Surprise Egg. "It a good trick, you thought us really leaving!"

[summerdude]

Obviously it's a great trick. Magnus, as the body, says nothing.

[papadopoulos]

"Yeah, kiddo, it was really good! Thanks for the, um, egg."

[biteybaby]

"It chocolate and there's a toy in it for you!"

[summerdude]

Sunny bobs again as Magnus does another big nod.

[papadopoulos]

"Oh. Well, should I see what toy is in it?" He begins to open the Kinder Egg.

[biteybaby]

"Yeah! I wanna see!" Whenever Polly gets that far, he will discover a small monkey-shaped stamp.

Magnus unbuttons a single button and pulls aside a tiny little bit of the coat so he can see.
