Trick Or Treat... But DON'T Smell Sunny's Feet!!!! [open]

It's Dark now, and Magnus has been preparing. He doesn't want Sunny to get bored or to feel the pervasive lack of the month, and so he's been squirreling away the necessary items for fun. It's not a surprise activity — Sunny has been on board since the very beginning, helping pick out exactly what they need to make it truly exceptional — but it does have a very intensive prep.

Finally, about a week into the month, they reach a point of cabin fever where the time seems right. It's not so intense that they're truly cranky, but they're definitely both in need of some diversion. Apu's cold is waning, and Far's isn't very advanced, and so Sunny allows that she can take a break from playing nurse (a word which here means verrrry carefully but verrrry insistently bringing them both cup after cup of water) to play Halloween instead.

And so, equipped with a closet full of costumes and an enormous basket, they start their rotation of Every Single Door In The Mansion (And All Other Non-Mansion Buildings Where People Live). Magnus knocks loudly, Sunny at his side, poised to say the magic words.

Halloween! In... May. When tagging in, please just get your character to the point of opening the door: we're going to describe Magnunny's costumes in our first tags!

“No,” Sunny responds, a little confused. “Then I would have said ‘please can us have treat?’ But bet you don’t even gots any cause not aspecting us. I ask if you want trick or if you want treat.” Constance must have trouble paying attention.

[summerdude]

Magnus grins, shaking his blue bangs away from his face. "As the lady said," he says. "Trick or treat?"

[greentara]

"Trick, I suppose."

[biteybaby]

Sunny gasps. Trick! Constance chose trick! Now's her time to shine! She grins mischievously, a word which here means, 'as if she is having a hard time keeping a straight face', and says very carefully, "Oh nooooooo but if you pick trick then I gots to give you gross rotted egg! You sure?"

The trick is that there isn't a gross rotted egg at all.

"Sounds like she's sure, bug," Magnus says, very solemnly.

[greentara]

Constance considers it equally as carefully. "I'm sure."

[biteybaby]

"Okay. Close you eyes and hold out you hands. So I can give you trick."

[summerdude]

Magnus watches, not even bothering to hide his glee.

[greentara]

Constance gamely closes her eyes and holds out both her hands, palms up.

[biteybaby]

Sunny places a Kinder Surprise Egg in Constance's hands. "TRICKED YOU! It not rotted egg it chocolate egg!"

[summerdude]

"That's a really good trick, Sunnster," Magnus tells her. "I bet Constance is really surprised."

[greentara]

Constance opens her eyes. "I wasn't expecting that!" she says, sounding genuinely surprised (for her).

[biteybaby]

"There's a toy inside the chocolate for you," Sunny explains helpfully.

[summerdude]

You know what? Constance is alright, actually. Magnus gives her an approving sort of look.

[greentara]

"Another thing I wasn't expecting," Constance says. "Very devious."

[biteybaby]

"I wanna see what toy you got!"

[summerdude]

"We're keeping track to see if any toys come up more often than others."

[greentara]

"I see." It's a scientific experiment that she can somewhat approve of. Constance deftly unwraps the chocolate egg and carefully breaks it open. Inside is a little alien creature with gigantic eyes and a nozzle for its nose.

[biteybaby]

"Wow so cute! What it named?"

[summerdude]

"Oooh, an alien," Magnus says, mentally adding it to the list of toys.

[greentara]

"Roswell," she says, after a short moment, thinking of Nora Kelly and her recent archeological dig and investigation.

[biteybaby]

"Hello Roswell," Sunny says, waving up at the toy.

[summerdude]

"Great reference," says Magnus, thinking of how Mr. Alderman looked just like he came from there instead of Alfheim.
