Trick Or Treat... But DON'T Smell Sunny's Feet!!!! [open]

It's Dark now, and Magnus has been preparing. He doesn't want Sunny to get bored or to feel the pervasive lack of the month, and so he's been squirreling away the necessary items for fun. It's not a surprise activity — Sunny has been on board since the very beginning, helping pick out exactly what they need to make it truly exceptional — but it does have a very intensive prep.

Finally, about a week into the month, they reach a point of cabin fever where the time seems right. It's not so intense that they're truly cranky, but they're definitely both in need of some diversion. Apu's cold is waning, and Far's isn't very advanced, and so Sunny allows that she can take a break from playing nurse (a word which here means verrrry carefully but verrrry insistently bringing them both cup after cup of water) to play Halloween instead.

And so, equipped with a closet full of costumes and an enormous basket, they start their rotation of Every Single Door In The Mansion (And All Other Non-Mansion Buildings Where People Live). Magnus knocks loudly, Sunny at his side, poised to say the magic words.

Halloween! In... May. When tagging in, please just get your character to the point of opening the door: we're going to describe Magnunny's costumes in our first tags!

"No it trick or treat, not trick and treat."

Magnus grins at Tress. "Sunny's the boss and the rules are in the name of the game."

"Well, then! Treat it is!"

[biteybaby]

"Okay!" Sunny starts digging around in the big basket Magnu packed their supplies in, then hands a foil-wrapped Kinder Surprise Egg up to Tress. "Taa daa!"

[summerdude]

"Be careful eating it," Magnus warns. "There's toys inside the chocolate."

She takes the egg and looks it over. "Thank you! It looks lovely!"

[biteybaby]

“Open it I wanna see what toy you gotted!”

[summerdude]

"You heard the cookie," grinning.

[sporesprouter]

"All right!" She carefully peels off the wrapper.

[biteybaby]

"Don't eat that part, it not taste good. Just for wrapping up."

[summerdude]

"How did they wrap candy up on your planet?" Magnus wonders.

[sporesprouter]

"In paper, usually." She gets it unwrapped and looks it over. "Oh, this cute."

[biteybaby]

"Don't eat the toy!" Sunny warns. Whenever Tress gets that far along in the process, the toy in question is a chameleon finger puppet.

[summerdude]

Magnus guesses a chocolate egg is cute. "Yeah, not even Sunny should bite into the toy."

[sporesprouter]

"Got it." She pops some of the chocolate in her mouth and then puts the chameleon on her finger.

[biteybaby]

Sunny gasps. "A snake!"

[summerdude]

"I think it's another kind of lizard, bug."

[sporesprouter]

She wriggles the finger with the chameleon on it. "I don't know anything about what kind of lizard it is, but it's definitely pretty cute."

[biteybaby]

"Blue kind."

[summerdude]

Galahad would know more specifics. Since this is a toy and doesn't speak Magnus's language, he just nods. "Seems about right."

[sporesprouter]

"Seems right to me, too. It's almost as blue as zephyr spores."

[biteybaby]

"What it name?"

[summerdude]

"Yeah, Tress, you gonna name it?"

[sporesprouter]

"I'll call it Zephyr."

[biteybaby]

"That a good name!" Sunny is an expert at naming toys. First Quigley, Second Quigley, Creepy Doll, and Duck all have perfect names.
