Trick Or Treat... But DON'T Smell Sunny's Feet!!!! [open]

It's Dark now, and Magnus has been preparing. He doesn't want Sunny to get bored or to feel the pervasive lack of the month, and so he's been squirreling away the necessary items for fun. It's not a surprise activity — Sunny has been on board since the very beginning, helping pick out exactly what they need to make it truly exceptional — but it does have a very intensive prep.

Finally, about a week into the month, they reach a point of cabin fever where the time seems right. It's not so intense that they're truly cranky, but they're definitely both in need of some diversion. Apu's cold is waning, and Far's isn't very advanced, and so Sunny allows that she can take a break from playing nurse (a word which here means verrrry carefully but verrrry insistently bringing them both cup after cup of water) to play Halloween instead.

And so, equipped with a closet full of costumes and an enormous basket, they start their rotation of Every Single Door In The Mansion (And All Other Non-Mansion Buildings Where People Live). Magnus knocks loudly, Sunny at his side, poised to say the magic words.

Halloween! In... May. When tagging in, please just get your character to the point of opening the door: we're going to describe Magnunny's costumes in our first tags!

Galahad is, fortunately an efficient person, and he returns after only a few minutes with one of his palm-leaf dragonflies, which he hands to Sunny. "Everyone needs a present."

Sunny gasps. "A bug! Thank you Galad! Magnu look at the bug!" She holds it down for Magnu to see as best as she can, but it's kind of difficult since her hand is sticking out of the top of the trench coat and Magnu is below her.

Magnus claws aside some trenchcoat fabric and carefully takes the toy from Sunny's hands to inspect. It's carefully and impressively made. "Dude," he says with great feeling as he passes it back up to Sunny. "You are so cool."

"Thank you," softly. "I'm practicing for Hanguang-jun."

[biteybaby]

"You maked this bug?!"

"He's sooooo cool," Magnus explains.

[onthewillowsthere]

"Did you meet Lan Sizhui?" he asks her. "He visited several months ago."

[biteybaby]

"No, I was busy."

[summerdude]

Feelings, Magnus signs, too low for Sunny to truly see. He finger-spells C-O-U-N-T O-L-A-F and A-R-T-H-U-R and M-O-M and D-I-N-A-D-A-N.

Galahad simply nods. "Lan Sizhui is Lan Wangji's student. Lan Wangji misses him. When Lan Sizhui was a child, Lan Wangji bought a dragonfly like this for him. I want to make one for Lan Wangji as a gift."

"I want to make one for Lan-shushu too!"
