Trick Or Treat... But DON'T Smell Sunny's Feet!!!! [open]

It's Dark now, and Magnus has been preparing. He doesn't want Sunny to get bored or to feel the pervasive lack of the month, and so he's been squirreling away the necessary items for fun. It's not a surprise activity — Sunny has been on board since the very beginning, helping pick out exactly what they need to make it truly exceptional — but it does have a very intensive prep.

Finally, about a week into the month, they reach a point of cabin fever where the time seems right. It's not so intense that they're truly cranky, but they're definitely both in need of some diversion. Apu's cold is waning, and Far's isn't very advanced, and so Sunny allows that she can take a break from playing nurse (a word which here means verrrry carefully but verrrry insistently bringing them both cup after cup of water) to play Halloween instead.

And so, equipped with a closet full of costumes and an enormous basket, they start their rotation of Every Single Door In The Mansion (And All Other Non-Mansion Buildings Where People Live). Magnus knocks loudly, Sunny at his side, poised to say the magic words.

Halloween! In... May. When tagging in, please just get your character to the point of opening the door: we're going to describe Magnunny's costumes in our first tags!

Close enough. When they arrive at the kitchen, Crowley demonstratively opens a few of the cabinets where he can typically find either coffee grounds or coffee beans. In one of them, a sphere that looks like a bubble except when you pop it... the faintest essence of coffee. In another, what looks like a bag of coffee beans... except it's cake! A no bake coffee Jell-O¹ cake to be specific.

Sunny doesn't pay any attention to that, and instead opens a cabinet door and walks inside it.

"...Wasn't that cabinet door smaller, like, a month ago?"

[aflashbastard]

"It's taunting me," Crowley mutters. "It's showing me all the coffee I can't have."

[biteybaby]

From deep within the cabinet, Sunny's voice yells, "I FINDED IT."

[summerdude]

"I meant Sunny's cabinet."

[aflashbastard]

"No, that's what I meant-- It's saying 'look at me, I'm bigger but I still don't have any bloody coffee'." Crowley pokes his head into the cabinet. "What did you find?"

[biteybaby]

Sunny reemerges, holding a plastic CD case with a lady on the front. "I finded presso! See!" She points to where there is clearly a 'p' on the case. "Presso! 'P' says 'puh' like Pusha and presso!"

[summerdude]

She's sooooo cute that Magnus feels kind of like a monster for stage whispering, "He's looking for presso like Dad's coffee."

[aflashbastard]

"No no, er, this is exactly the one I was looking for. Already feel more awake just looking at it. See?" He looks exactly the same.

[biteybaby]

Crowley still looks pretty sleepy. "It okay Crowley I gonna get it!" Aaaaand she disappears back into the cabinet.

[summerdude]

"What do you think is inside that cabinet?" Magnus asks Crowley. "A whole nother kitchen?"

[aflashbastard]

Crowley examines the CD, holding it up for Magnus. "Waterstones?"

[biteybaby]

After some far off noises, Sunny yells, "GOT IT! GOT THE COFFEES!"

[summerdude]

"Whatawho now?" Magnus asks Crowley. "She sounds like she's, like, miles away though, right?"

[aflashbastard]

"Well, any Waterstones would be rather far--"

[biteybaby]

"Got the presso!" Sunny comes back out of the cabinet, holding a shiny cezve, like what Apu's coffee gets cooked in.

[summerdude]

"Wow," says Magnus. "Would you look at that!"

[aflashbastard]

"That's promising," Crowley says, encouraging. "Does it have anything in it?"

[biteybaby]

"No, you gotta put the stuff in it, it doesn't come already with stuff in it."

[summerdude]

"So thoughtful," Magnus says, swallowing a laugh at the look on Crowley's face.

[aflashbastard]

"Oh. Well. Er, that's part of the problem, you see." Crowley waves vaguely, intending to ensorcel some coffee into the cezve. What ends up in there is faux caviar that looks like it could be spherified coffee but actually tastes like fish¹.

¹It's all a bit confused right now. 

[biteybaby]

"What's that?!" It better not be jello balls!

[summerdude]

"Is that boba?"

[aflashbastard]

"Not sure." Crowley is equally as confused. He shakes a couple out into his hand, but it's not like he's going to eat it. "Definitely not coffee."
