Magnus is walking down the front steps of the Mansion, freshly-loaded bag of food in tow, ruminating on a few of his most recent and devastatingly embarrassing conversations, when he hears footsteps behind him.

Well. He did tell Galahad he'd ask everyone. Might as well start now. "Can you explain the birds and the bees -- I mean, sex -- to me?" he demands, even before he sees who it is.

"Just let me know," Magnus shrugs. "I've heard heat is good for joints."

Mothwing is relieved Magnus doesn't push it, even though she knows she would definitely push it if she were an elder under her own care. I'm not an elder yet, she thinks stubbornly to herself.

"I'll make do with the sun for now."

"Okay," Magnus says, easily. "It's gonna start snowing really soon though." He knows this in the way that any child of the god of summer might know that the opposite season is encroaching. "So just let me know?"
