"And then we realized Frigg was knitting with clouds. Actual factual clouds," Magnus says, passing another box that, as it turns out, holds nothing useful down to Galahad. He climbs up another rung on the little stepladder and starts in on the next shelf. "How many boxes of Legos do we have so far?" He knows it's certainly not enough for a bachelorette party yet, but surely there's something they can go on. He'd kind of tonight that this far after Dark, there would be... more? "Do you think we should find another room to look in? Maybe the game room isn't the best choice."

He smiles. "Yes. And kittiwakes and shearwaters. Petrels."

"We saw puffins on the Big Banana," Magnus says, reaching to brush a finger over the little Lego birds. "When we were sailing from Jorvik to Flam."

"They make burrows in the earth for their eggs."

[summerdude]

"Ragnelle said that Drosera might want to live on a cliff eventually."

"Peregrines do. Percival says eagles make nests."

[summerdude]

Magnus flashes a smile as a thought occurs to him. "Maybe she'll claim the tower," he says. "It's definitely big enough to support her when she's big."

The tower would make an excellent spot for an eagle's nest. Galahad smiles at the thought.

"Oh, ew," Magnus says, suddenly distracted as his eyes catch on a little Lego Naglfar over Galahad's shoulder. "That's the ship where I flyted Loki."

"Are there other things here from your travels?"

[summerdude]

Magnus looks around, then laughs. "There's Aegir's mead-brewing setup," he says. "And Utgard-Loki's bowling alley."

"What else?"

[summerdude]

Magnus starts to walk around. "I don't recognize this at all," he says, of a Lego glade with a great broken stone Lego slab in the middle. "Do you?"

He shakes his head. "No. Do you think it belongs to someone else? Why can't there be books about us, but Legos are all right?"

[summerdude]

"No freaking clue," Magnus says, and then stops, stock-still, at a Lego boat with a rat perched on the wheel. "Oh my gods. Galahad. Do you think -- is that Charlie?"

"It could be Charlie."

[summerdude]

"Should we take this back to Tress just in case?"

[onthewillowsthere]

"Are we allowed?" It feels a little like taking the bones from a reliquary.

[summerdude]

"I can't think of why not," Magnus says. "But we could also bring her here?"

The idea of bringing Tress on a quest with them is actually wonderful. Galahad nods -- eagerly, for him. "Yes."

"We should bring Shen Yuan here, too," Magnus suggests, going over to look at a mountain scene with Lego bamboo and little Lego bunnies. He squints, and leans in closer. Could this be -- is it Hanguang-jun's home?

"We could have the bachelorette party here."

[summerdude]

"Do you want it here?" Magnus asks. "Or the tower, to pick constellations for this place?" He scratches his head. "Or we could do both places. Tower for constellations and Alex's bestiality, and then here for the Legos and the music and soda and food tastings?"

"I would like to do both. Do bachelorette parties happen like that? Is it allowed?"

[summerdude]

"Oh yeah, a lot of bachelorette parties involve going to multiple locations." Probably. He'd seen some of them, like, commuting when he was trying to sleep on his favorite park bench.

"Then I would like to do that."
