"And then we realized Frigg was knitting with clouds. Actual factual clouds," Magnus says, passing another box that, as it turns out, holds nothing useful down to Galahad. He climbs up another rung on the little stepladder and starts in on the next shelf. "How many boxes of Legos do we have so far?" He knows it's certainly not enough for a bachelorette party yet, but surely there's something they can go on. He'd kind of tonight that this far after Dark, there would be... more? "Do you think we should find another room to look in? Maybe the game room isn't the best choice."

Practice, Magnus teases. What a hardship. He nudges Galahad. "Worth it, though?"

Worth it, nudging back.

Magnus nods. That's all that matters to him. "Good," he says, and then he remembers: "Oh my gods. Did I ever tell you what Shen Yuan said to me when you were getting those doritos a few weeks ago?"

"What?"

Magnus rolls his eyes extravagantly. "He asked me if Alex showing up made it weird. You and me doing... that. Platonically."

Galahad blinks. This is too ridiculous an idea even to make him blush. "What," flatter this time.

[summerdude]

"Bro kisses, bro handjobs, bro blowies," Magnus recounts. "It was... extremely confusing."

"Why would he--" Galahad pauses. "Does he think we do, or all friends?"

[summerdude]

"I think he thinks all friends do," says Magnus, after a moment of trying to work though his recollection of all the twists and turns that conversation took.

Galahad frowns, a subtle little drawing together of his eyebrows, and finally says, "Do you think he's all right?"

"No," says Magnus, immediately. "He acted way too weird when I was like 'what are you even talking about, dude?' to be all right."

"Which friend do you think he kisses?"

[summerdude]

Magnus glances over at Galahad. "Sagramore," he says.

Galahad makes a face. "Claudius said he was Luo Binghe's lover as well."

[summerdude]

"I, like. Pointed out that we're both actually monogamous and additionally, like, actually just friends, and he got all indignant in the way that he does."

He knows exactly what way Magnus means, and he rolls his eyes the way Claudius does.

Magnus cracks up. "The thing I can't figure out is, on top of, like, everything else, he like, knows we're both -- uh," a wicked grin at Galahad, "were both virgins, right? So like... ??????"

"He doesn't think those things are sex."

[summerdude]

"I guess that does make sense as an explanation," Magnus says. "But I do wonder what goes on in that guy's head sometimes."

Galahad, who wonders that for multiple reasons, just nods. This is separate from the sadness he discussed with Claudius, but it doesn't help with his general level of worry about Shen Yuan.

"Wait," says Magnus, as something Galahad mentioned a few minutes ago percolates. "Sagramore and Luo Binghe???"

[onthewillowsthere]

"Claudius said so." This, obviously, make it final.

It sure does! "He would know."
